Do you have a favorite restaurant in your town? What are some of their signature or specialty dishes?
Stop making my mouth water when I’m so far away Karen though I suppose a good swim might work up an appetite.

OOooh…David is right…no fair tempting us when we’re too far away to enjoy these delicacies! We are in the boonies, and the only “eatery” in the town where I get my mail is a pizza joint. We have to drive 45-60 miles to get anything I would describe as “memorable.”
Sorry guys! We do have some darn good restaurants in town, especially for such a small town. That’s a shame you have to drive so far, Elizabeth!
Elizabeth, there is a simple reason why there are no “eateries” in your town. It is a “peek ‘n plum” town…peek around the corner and you’re plum outta town.
That’s funny, Esther. Never heard that before.
Karen, that one is OLD! I first heard it when I was in about 8th grade in an Iowa town that wasn’t much bigger.
Oh yum…that place sounds wonderful! I love it when you can find outstanding eateries in unexpected places.
Your tour is such a grand idea, Karen!!
Thanks, Denise. It was fun to do. I know most of you can’t get here, but it’s fun to learn about other cities and towns. And, where your friends live. 🙂
Yes, especially when it doesn’t look like “Anytown, USA”. I like towns with some character!
