You may be wondering why I’ve not been blogging much.
In August, I quit my full-time job at Minot State University so I could go to school full time at Minot State University/Lake Region State College. I’ll graduate in May, 2019, with an AAS in American Sign Language and Interpreting Studies.
And then?
I don’t know what I’m doing after that – and I’m not worrying about it now. I do have my sub teacher’s license, so that’s a fall-back thing.
Politics
I have also been enormously involved in local and national politics for the last two years and that takes up a lot of my time as well. I’m making signs, organizing, campaigning, and demonstrating. I’m feeling a little Norma Rae!
Eventually …
I’ll be back … eventually. I’m not letting go of the blog, but I’m giving it a rest.
So, for now …
Gone Fishing.
I look forward to your return to blogging but understand completely that, in this season, your focus is elsewhere. There is much wisdom in being intentional about how we spend our–limited–time.
It sounds like your life is moving forward and is exciting! Look forward to reading your blogs later. All the best!!
I do miss your blogs; in fact, that’s how I got to know you and then become part of the Sharks and a Comrade of the Keyboard. YOU brought us all together, and Elizabeth and I whisper to each other that we hope we all can do that again sometime. In the meantime, you have a LOT on your plate (to use an overused cliché) and I’m so proud of my blogging buddy.
Keep up the good work on the political side. We have too many people who only spend their time on Facebook and no time encouraging people to vote.
I wish you all the best and hope you come back to blogging soon! 🙂
As the terminator said, “I’ll be back.”
You rock in all you do my friend! Just as Pam mentioned, you brought us all together and put the shark bite on this priceless tribe of ours. Love seeing you do your thing 😀 Enjoy the journey and report back when you’re ready!
I want The Sharkies to stay in touch (we’ve been doing a good job of that on emails I think), but I just can’t do THIS and everything else. I’m doing a major thing right now! 🙂 And LOVING IT.
